Every AfterDoula profile shows the same seven credentials in the same order: background check, pediatric CPR and first aid, newborn care specialist, postpartum doula training, safe sleep, silent service, and House Brief training. A gold check means it is verified and on file. A ring means a class or a check is booked, with the date. Profiles rank by verified count.
A night nanny takes the baby overnight so you sleep: feeds, changes, settling, bottles and pump parts washed, the night logged. A postpartum doula tends the mother: rest, food, feeding support, and the first months. On AfterDoula many caregivers do both, and the profile says which.
Night nanny and day postpartum doula care start at $50 an hour in Ada County, and twins or multiples from $60. Nights run 8 hours at minimum, days 4, for 8 weeks at minimum. Prices are on the services page.
Yes. Every booking starts with a phone or video call with the caregiver you pick. You decide after the call.
